It's Time for a Change . . .

Take the Smoke-Free Home Pledge.  Keeping secondhand smoke away from family and friends is an important step in protecting their health.

  • Make your home and car smoke-free.
  • Family, friends, and visitors should never smoke inside.
  • If you smoke, smoke only outside.
  • Ask your doctor for ways to help you stop smoking.

Remember, it's not enough to move to another room, open a window, turn on a fan, blow smoke away, or use air fresheners or candles.

Keeping your home smoke-free may not always be easy, but it is something you can do to protect the health of family, friends, and visitors.

I pledge to protect my children and loved ones from the health risks of secondhand smoke by keeping my home smoke-free.
